Atlantic Seascapes

Haute Déco have recently added a new colour range to their collection - available as lever handles & knobs of all shapes and sizes in a palette of 12 colours inspired by the French Atlantic island Ile de Ré, which is the part-time home of founder Marie-Véronique Swannell.

The colours have been developed by Marie-Véronique after spending time on the island during the changing seasons and observing the vegetation found in the dunes and salt marshes, the sea merging with the stormy skies, the dark earthy colours of the salt marshes and highlights of bright hues in early Summer.

As with all of their cast resin handles the colour is saturated throughout the material, giving a depth of colour not often found in door furniture. The collection was developed to the exacting standards of all Haute Déco products and the team at their Hampshire studio put a lot of effort into creating the colours which form the base of the collection.

Whilst inspired by nature, the individual colours can also be paired with some of the best loved paint colours by brands such as Farrow & Ball, The Little Greene Paint Company or Edward Bulmer. Haute Déco will be displaying the new collection at London Design Week at the Design Centre, Chelsea Harbour from 14th - 18th March. Visitors to the stand, which can be found on The Avenue, will be able to see examples of the new colours such as garden sage and wild thyme and how they complement colours such as Kitchen Green (Little Greene) or Green Smoke (Farrow & Ball).

As with all of the Haute Déco collection, the metal finish for the insert and back-plate can be customised to polished nickel, satin nickel, polished brass, satin brass or antique bronze.
