Colour has the power to affect our feelings and moods like no other element of design: as it was so well put by Wassily Kandinsky, “Colour is a power which directly influences the soul”.
Embracing colour in a room requires an element of faith, but the rewards are plentiful. Colour in interior design does not have to be full-on, it can equally be made of small colour accents that add a bit of heart and life without much risk.
Artistic colour hardware has a role to play in harnessing the power of colour in interior design, be it as a way to tie in with fabrics and paint colours or as a means to add a stand-alone colour accent in an otherwise neutral scheme.
